# History
The name MISP-dockerized comes from [Mailcow-dockerized](https://mailcow.io) combined with MISP. It means (enterprise ready) MISP environment at Docker.

MISP-dockerized is an opensource project and initial funding was providing by a company called Deutsche Cyber-Sicherheitsorganisation GmbH (DCSO).
In 2018 [DCSO](https://dcso.de) started this development to help its enterprise customers who had mostly Suse Linux Enterprise Server or Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
